MAR Suitability (SUIT) and Feasibility (FEAS) maps essentially comprise a set of maps that, together with the risk maps, will allow to:

• Identify the optimal physical location for implementing infiltration ponds and injection wells as MAR systems.
• Assess the water availability and demand of a specific region, taking into account different water sources and consumers.
• Allocate the optimal location for infiltration ponds and injection wells as MAR systems based on land suitability and water demand, and availability.

These maps have been produced for four demo sites for infiltration ponds and injection wells. These demo sites are Frielas, Portugal; Emilia-Romagna, Italy; Cape Flats, South Africa and Marbella, Spain.
